    Description

Clear Polycarbonate Cut to Size, Unbeatable

Solid and clear polycarbonate is the world’s toughest material, shatterproof and virtually unbreakable. It’s also impact-resistant, chip-resistant—even cold-resistant. In short, it’s tough enough to stand up to just about anything you can throw at it.

Clear polycarbonate, or PC, is similar to acrylic plastic material but even stronger. Polycarbonate plastic sheeting is lightweight, clear, and easy to work with. The amazing impact resistance makes it perfect for glass replacements or for places where glass would be too weak.

Polycarbonate plastic is more than 200 times stronger than glass and 30 times stronger than acrylic panels. A PC sheet is exceptionally hard-wearing and resistant to the elements, making it perfect for outdoor use. Solid polycarbonate is great for greenhouse panels or cold frames.

At plasticsheets.com, we cut to size polycarbonate sheets with skill and precision at affordable prices. There are many thicknesses to choose from to suit your needs—it’s easy and quick.

With our smash-proof polycarbonate sheets, your dreams are safe and sound.

    Exceptional Strength of Clear Polycarbonate

Polycarbonate sheeting is the perfect material to use outdoors. PC is virtually unbreakable and exceptionally resistant.

PC panels are half the weight of glass, so you can easily install them on your own. Polycarbonate plastic sheets are ideal for secondary glazing as well as roofing.

Smash-proof polycarbonate does not break into dangerous and difficult to clean shards, like glass. This means you can safely use it indoors, around children or pets.

    Versatile

300 hundred times stronger than glass and 30 times stronger than our Perspex® acrylic sheets.

    Lightweight

Polycarbonate weighs up to five times less than an equivalent glass panel.

    Durable

With a higher impact tolerance to acrylic sheeting, 12mm polycarbonate is also resistant to bullets, and its brake form is a tenth of an inch thick.

    Weather Resistant

With both UV, abrasion, and weather resistance, the sheets can withstand the most severe weather conditions.

    Maintainable

Easy to clean, with just warm soapy water and a microfibre cloth.

    Malleable

Can to be fabricated and altered to any requirements.

Polycarbonate Sheeting’s Resistance to the Elements

Perspex® Polycarbonate material can withstand extreme temperatures of -50C°C to 100°C, for a long time. It has a Class 1 Fire Rating, so it doesn’t contribute to the spread of flames.

Because PC is a thermoplastic, it will shrink if exposed to a large fire, letting the smoke escape. It won’t produce toxic fumes or gases. A polycarbonate sheet does not continue to burn after the flames are gone.

PC is chemical resistant and has a UV coating. The sheet’s surface will not yellow in direct sunlight for up to 7 years. A clear polycarbonate sheet will last more than 20 years with good care.

These excellent properties are the reason why polycarbonate greenhouse panels or cold frames are so popular with our customers. PC sheets are good at keeping the heat in or out and keep you safe from theft and vandalism.

Polycarbonate panels have a UV-reflective layer. It stops the harmful radiation of sun rays from reaching your skin or your plants and keeps you healthy. When used in your home, it will also help protect furniture from getting discoloured due to exposure to the sun.

Polycarbonate Panels Dreamt by You, Cut by Us

All polycarbonate sheets are cut to size. Half polycarbonate sheets measure 1520 mm x 2050 mm or 3050 mm x 1020 mm. A full polycarbonate sheet measures 3050 mm x 2050 mm.

The thickness ranges from 2 mm to 12 mm. We offer custom cutting, polycarbonate shapes, and polycarbonate frames. We can drill holes in polycarbonate sheets at any distance and size and offer a bespoke cutting option. We can also round the corners of your sheet for a beautiful finish.

Like every superhero, polycarbonate has only one weakness—it is more likely to scratch than clear Perspex® acrylic. But don’t worry. Polycarbonate surfaces are easily buffed to make the plastic sheet look brand-new again.

We keep our tolerances low and our quality high because we believe that if you can dream it—we can make it.

Clarity and Brightness of Solid Polycarbonate

You don’t need to compromise on the clarity of your material to have a sheet as strong as polycarbonate. In fact, polycarbonate is clearer than glass! While standard glass panels are 89% transparent, polycarbonate is 90%.

Cut to size polycarbonate is an excellent material to use for shed windows and secondary glazing. PC is suitable for roofing windows; polycarbonate sheds and gazebos are just as strong as polycarbonate skylights and domes.

You could even have a polycarbonate veranda, balcony fencing, balustrade, or security railing. Clear plastic material brightens the space, letting the sun in safely.

There are no limits on using this remarkable panel, big or small.

Polycarbonate sheeting cut to size is a smart investment. It will withstand difficult weather, high and low temperatures, and outlast a similar glass sheet. You can have a large, full sheet or an unusual shape, perfectly fitting and always beautiful.
