Yes, plastic sheets are a great alternative to tile splashbacks. Perspex® sheeting is easy to install, cleans well and it’s very durable. However, acrylic is not suitable for use around gas hobs. Are there more resistant alternatives to acrylic splashbacks?
Yes. For kitchens and places with significant heat sources, we recommend PETG sheeting. PETG has a class 1 fire rating, as well as strong chemical resistance.

Tinted Perspex® has a Class 3 Fire Rating.
Can I store Tint Perspex® acrylic sheets?
Yes. If you aren’t ready to use your tinted plastic sheeting yet or have leftover pieces you’d like to keep, you can store them yourself.
