Polycarbonate sheeting is the perfect material to use outdoors. PC is virtually unbreakable and exceptionally resistant.
PC panels are half the weight of glass, so you can easily install them on your own. Polycarbonate plastic sheets are ideal for secondary glazing as well as roofing.
Smash-proof polycarbonate does not break into dangerous and difficult to clean shards, like glass. This means you can safely use it indoors, around children or pets.

Polycarbonate Sheeting’s Resistance to the Elements
Perspex® Polycarbonate material can withstand extreme temperatures of -50C°C to 100°C, for a long time. It has a Class 1 Fire Rating, so it doesn’t contribute to the spread of flames.
Because PC is a thermoplastic, it will shrink if exposed to a large fire, letting the smoke escape. It won’t produce toxic fumes or gases. A polycarbonate sheet does not continue to burn after the flames are gone.
PC is chemical resistant and has a UV coating. The sheet’s surface will not yellow in direct sunlight for up to 7 years. A clear polycarbonate sheet will last more than 20 years with good care.

All polycarbonate sheets are cut to size. Half polycarbonate sheets measure 1520 mm x 2050 mm or 3050 mm x 1020 mm. A full polycarbonate sheet measures 3050 mm x 2050 mm.
The thickness ranges from 2 mm to 12 mm. We offer custom cutting, polycarbonate shapes, and polycarbonate frames. We can drill holes in polycarbonate sheets at any distance and size and offer a bespoke cutting option. We can also round the corners of your sheet for a beautiful finish.
Like every superhero, polycarbonate has only one weakness—it is more likely to scratch than clear Perspex® acrylic. But don’t worry. Polycarbonate surfaces are easily buffed to make the plastic sheet look brand-new again.

- Good products, weak serviceAfter waiting two weeks I contacted plasticsheets to ask for an update and was told the order would arrive with me on Friday that week. It didn't. Two weeks later I eventually did receive my order, but there was no explanation for the delay.
Here's where things pick up. The "6mm Clear Twin Wall Polycarbonate Sheet" was cut exactly as I had requested and it had been well tapped both ends. Good job.

- Good price, slow deliveryI have used plastic sheets many times for replacement windows for my green house. Quality is great and always cut ot size perfectly, price for product is reasonable but the delivery costs are too expensive, they offer 3-5 day delivery which cost me nearly £9 for 2 half metre pieces but it took 5 weeks to arrive which I feel is an unfair price to deliver when service is so slow. However, I would use them again and customer service is good, my emails were responded to quickly. But I would suggest to think ahead and order weeks in advance if you have a project in mind!!
